Use of the app does not reduce or eliminate the risks inherent in riding, training, or horse handling.
Apple App Store or Google Play control billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund handling.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Piaffo mobile application, related websites, subscription features, content, uploads, analysis tools, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Services.
You enter into these Terms personally and, if you use the Services on behalf of another person or entity, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that person or entity. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Services is lawful in the jurisdiction where you access or use them.
You may use the Services only if you have legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are under the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, your parent or legal guardian must review and accept these Terms on your behalf and is fully responsible for your use of the Services. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, for all activity under your account, and for providing accurate, current, and complete information.
Piaffo provides informational and educational content relating to dressage riding, rider position, horse training concepts, interpretative guidance, video-based observations, user-submitted inputs, and AI-assisted or rule-based suggestions. The Services are provided for informational and educational purposes only.
Piaffo does not provide professional advice. Piaffo is not a coach, trainer, veterinarian, physician, physiotherapist, farrier, saddle fitter, judge, or emergency service. The Services do not replace qualified in-person instruction, supervision, medical care, veterinary care, or professional assessment.
Any content, recommendation, suggestion, interpretation, output, or analysis made available through the Services may be incomplete, incorrect, delayed, outdated, misleading, unsuitable, or unsafe for a particular horse, rider, training level, competition setting, environment, or set of conditions. You must not treat the Services as authoritative or as a substitute for independent judgment and qualified in-person advice.
Risks include, without limitation, falls, kicks, bites, crushing, trampling, entanglement, bolting, bucking, rearing, collisions, spooking, equipment failure, tack failure, footing failure, weather conditions, fatigue, stress, poor judgment, and the unpredictable behavior of horses and people.
Those risks can cause serious injury, permanent disability, or death to the rider and to other people. Those risks can also cause injury, illness, distress, permanent harm, or death to the horse, as well as damage to tack, vehicles, facilities, other property, and the surrounding environment.
You acknowledge that the use of the Services does not reduce, control, or eliminate the risks inherent in horse riding or training. You assume full responsibility for all equestrian risks and all consequences arising from your riding, training, horse handling, and related decisions.
The presence or absence of a helmet or any other protective equipment in any photo, video, illustration, animation, demonstration, recommendation, output, or user-generated content within the Services must not be interpreted as a safety recommendation, endorsement, instruction, or statement of safe practice.
You are solely responsible for selecting, wearing, maintaining, and properly using appropriate safety equipment at all times, including while mounted, during groundwork, while handling horses, and in any training or competition environment. You must never infer that conduct shown in the Services is safe, approved, or appropriate because a helmet or other safety equipment is or is not visible.
All riding and training decisions must be adapted to the specific horse, the rider's skill level, the rider's physical condition, the horse's health and behavior, tack and equipment, footing, weather, facility conditions, supervision, and all other relevant circumstances.
You are solely responsible for how you ride, how you train, how you handle horses, how you interpret any content, and whether any exercise, aid, movement, or recommendation is suitable or safe in the circumstances. You must independently evaluate all content before acting on it and stop immediately if conditions are unsafe, the horse is distressed, the rider is unable to perform safely, or qualified in-person supervision is required.
You must not view, operate, or interact with the Services while mounted, while handling or controlling a horse, while driving or transporting a horse, or while engaged in any activity in which device use could create a distraction or hazard. The Services are not for emergency use and must not be relied upon in urgent or high-risk situations.
The Services may provide suggestions, feedback, interpretations, or other outputs generated or assisted by artificial intelligence, automated decision rules, heuristics, or similar systems. Any such recommendation is non-authoritative and must not be blindly followed.
AI-assisted, automated, and rule-based outputs may be based on incomplete, inaccurate, low-quality, or misleading inputs, including user descriptions, sensor data, and video uploads. Video-based analysis is inherently limited by factors such as camera angle, camera height, lens distortion, frame rate, lighting, shadows, compression, cropping, occlusion, timing, missing context before and after the recorded clip, and the inability to assess feel, contact quality, fatigue, pain, soundness, rider intent, environmental hazards, or off-camera events.
Outputs generated from those inputs may be incorrect, incomplete, unsafe, inconsistent, or inappropriate for the specific horse, rider, or situation. You must independently assess every output before acting on it and obtain qualified in-person advice whenever safety, horse welfare, rider welfare, veterinary issues, lameness, pain, behavior, equipment fit, or competition compliance may be implicated.
The Services may allow you to upload, submit, store, or transmit videos, images, recordings, written descriptions, comments, metadata, and other content or inputs ("User Content"). You are solely responsible for your User Content and for all consequences arising from it.
You represent and warrant that you own or control all rights necessary to submit the User Content, that you have obtained all required permissions and consents from riders, handlers, horse owners, trainers, videographers, and any other person depicted or implicated, and that your User Content does not violate any law, contract, privacy right, publicity right, intellectual property right, animal welfare obligation, or other third-party right.
Piaffo does not endorse, verify, monitor, or guarantee the accuracy, legality, safety, quality, or reliability of User Content. User Content may be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, offensive, unsafe, or unlawful. Piaffo may, but is not required to, remove, refuse, review, restrict, or preserve User Content at any time.
By submitting User Content, you grant Piaffo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, process, analyze, modify for technical purposes, transmit, display, and otherwise use the User Content as necessary to operate, secure, improve, support, and provide the Services and related outputs to you. Piaffo does not guarantee that any User Content, analysis, or output will be accurate, complete, useful, or safe.
Any examples, illustrations, educational demonstrations, sample analyses, or testimonials made available through the Services are informational only and do not promise or predict results for any user, rider, horse, or competition outcome.
Certain features of the Services require a paid subscription. A subscription grants access only to eligible paid features during the active subscription period. A subscription does not transfer ownership of any software or content and does not create any guarantee of availability, correctness, safety, performance improvement, or other outcome.
Subscriptions may be offered through the Apple App Store or Google Play and may be technically managed through RevenueCat or a comparable subscription management provider. Billing, renewal, cancellation, refund handling, and payment method management are controlled by the platform account through which you subscribed.
Unless canceled before the renewal date required by the applicable platform, subscriptions automatically renew for the same billing period and the platform will charge your payment method. You must cancel through your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the application, deleting your account, or uninstalling the Services does not cancel an active subscription. Except to the extent required by applicable law or the applicable billing platform's mandatory rules, fees are non-refundable.
Subject to these Terms, Piaffo grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and use the Services for your personal, non-commercial use.
The Services, including the software, text, graphics, layouts, interfaces, audio, video, visual design, trademarks, compilations, recommendations, outputs, and all related intellectual property rights, are owned by Piaffo or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. Except for the limited license expressly granted in these Terms, no right, title, or interest is transferred to you.
Piaffo may change, update, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time, with or without notice. Piaffo does not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available at any particular time or in any particular location.
Piaffo may suspend or terminate access, remove User Content, or limit functionality if Piaffo believes that doing so is necessary to protect users, horses, the Services, third parties, legal compliance, or system integrity.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise.
Piaffo disclaims all warranties, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, quiet enjoyment, and that the Services, content, recommendations, analyses, or outputs will be complete, current, correct, reliable, useful, safe, lawful, secure, uninterrupted, or error-free.
Nothing in the Services constitutes a warranty that any riding technique, training method, interpretation, recommendation, or content is suitable for your horse, your rider level, your tack, your environment, or your objectives. Where applicable law gives you non-waivable rights, those rights are limited only to the minimum extent permitted by law.
By using the Services, you explicitly acknowledge and accept all risks associated with horse riding, horse training, horse handling, travel with horses, equipment use, competition preparation, competition participation, and related equestrian activities, whether known or unknown, foreseeable or unforeseeable.
You voluntarily assume all such risks for yourself, your horse, other people, property, and the environment. You acknowledge that any decision to act on content, recommendations, analyses, user-generated content, or outputs obtained through the Services is made solely at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Piaffo and its affiliates, licensors, service providers, contractors, officers, directors, employees, agents, and processors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or other damages of any kind arising out of or relating to the Services, your use of the Services, or your reliance on any content, recommendation, analysis, output, or User Content.
This exclusion applies, without limitation, to claims and damages arising from personal injury, death, horse injury, horse illness, horse death, veterinary expenses, rider injury, third-party injury, property damage, environmental damage, riding incidents, training-related incidents, falls, collisions, equipment failure, competition-related incidents, misuse of content, misuse of recommendations, data loss, business interruption, and lost profits, even if Piaffo was advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the extent that liability cannot be excluded as a matter of applicable law, the aggregate liability of Piaffo and the other protected parties identified above shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid for the Services during the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100). Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Piaffo and its affiliates, licensors, service providers, contractors, officers, directors, employees, agents, and processors from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, proceedings, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, fines, penalties, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or relating to:
Piaffo may assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, and you agree to cooperate fully with that defense.
These Terms and any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the Piaffo application (including, without limitation, personal injury claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Czech Republic, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the Services shall be resolved exclusively by binding arbitration on an individual basis.
The arbitration shall be conducted in English by a single arbitrator under internationally recognized arbitration rules (such as the Rules of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce or equivalent), and the seat of arbitration shall be Prague, Czech Republic.
Nothing in this section prevents Piaffo from seeking injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
To the extent that applicable law does not allow mandatory arbitration for certain types of claims, such claims shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Prague, Czech Republic.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that any claim arising out of or related to the use of the Services must be filed within one (1) year after such claim arose, otherwise it is permanently barred.
Some jurisdictions, including certain U.S. states, may not allow limitations on certain rights. In such cases, the above limitations shall apply to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
These Terms remain in effect until terminated. Piaffo may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, if Piaffo determines that you have violated these Terms, created risk, misused the Services, or if suspension or termination is necessary for legal, operational, security, or safety reasons.
Upon termination, the license granted to you under these Terms ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including Sections 3 through 19 and any payment obligations accrued before termination.
If any provision of these Terms is held unlawful, unenforceable, or invalid, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Piaffo regarding the Services and supersede any prior or contemporaneous understandings relating to the same subject matter.
